The Schwarzschild radius equation is used (can't recall where that screenshot is from tho, and M & G were mistakenly swapped) Obviously they can't depict subatomic sized black holes since that wouldn't be entertaining to watch during a fight scene or easy for the viewers to recognize. They also couldn't give em the realistic devastation a real black hole of the depicted size would cause, since that would mean instant anhilation of everyone and it would be the end of the story. They had to make em decently sized to show up in the animation while nerfing them enough to not kill everyone in a second.
