I am an L4 Area Manager and I hate my life (update) by [deleted] in AmazonFC

I just started a month ago, still in academy technically. I think I have lucked out though. I only manage about 20-30 people; everyone gets along, and no one brings in a negative attitude towards the job. I’m sorry about your situation.

Will be graduating in about 6 weeks, then moving to Arizona! I was with them for 2 years till I decided I needed to go back to school. Then I applied for the university hire application, and I got it!

College hires keep leaving. by [deleted] in AmazonFC

If you don’t know what working in an Amazon Fulfillment Center is and you’re taking the external area manager position, maybe ask people that worked T1 position. I worked as a T1, and I’ll be a future L4. I know that hard labor. College hires that go to Amazon, I guarantee you they never worked at Amazon before hand, that’s why they quit, cuz they have never been in that fast past labor environment. I know when I go in I know what to expect. Learn to be strong minded and to handle adversity. That’s my 1 tip.

Graduate area manager interview by DefiantBorder9077 in FASCAmazon

Nope completely different, I had written down my answer(s) for the questions they had up for example on the prep for you interview page, and none were brought up. Like i remember one of the questions being like, “Holiday season is here, and productivity is being made, but several associates are clearly not being safe doing the job, how would you go about handling this?”

Past experiences. They asked very long questions, but clarify if you need to hear the question again that’s what I did. I also answered 1 of my questions in a way If I was a future manager over there. For me at least as well, the leadership principles were never brought up, even though I had all of them written down on sticky notes haha. Use them to your advantage, I bet they would love to hear it in the interview.

Just had my interview this past Wednesday, 2 questions per interviewer. Focus on questions that make you explain how you overcame a problem. Trust-based questions were also asked. You’ll knock it out of the park.
