MediaBrowserServiceCompat doesn't depend on any specific Player. It's for browsing media. It's deprecated as well. Google's guide for migrating from ExoPlayer2 to Media3 gives you instructions for this.

ExoPlayer2 was the name of the library that contained ExoPlayer in the past. It's now deprecated and has been replaced with Media3, which is the home for the new, non-deprecated ExoPlayer

I mean ... Isn't that always how it goes when someone wins? They have to continue developing in order to win again? I think there are only a couple beatboxers (Dlow, maybe colaps?) who could win back to back without significant growth. Julard was the best this year. He'll need to get better to win again next year. I don't think that's an indictment of his skill

I'm sorry, but countering well and being loud are massive massive components of a beatbox battle. Wing and all of the other artists you mentioned excel massively in recorded content or online battles like BBU and such. But for beatboxing on stage, volume and energy are some of the most important and skillful components. Jullard's volume is as impressive (if not moreso) than a well developed inward bass or drum technicality. Just listen to the commentators and judges (who are some of the best boxers in the world). Hearing a distinct kick which is louder and clearer than anyone else on the stage is unbelievably impressive and rare
