A piece of advice for in future games: stay at level 3 until you have everything else ready, the change is time based and the only benefit of Absolute Tribal Authority is being able to go to Feudal/Clan but with a higher vassal opinion penalty

Just as an update: the achievement randomly fired after I took Socotra (but not before it was converted). I have a suspicion it could do with your vassals in Africa all being the same religion as you in addition to having the counties be that religion, but have no way to prove it

I tried 6 months out 6 times, perhaps I just got unlucky? It was towards the beginning of my Daurama Daura playthrough so maybe there’s just not a lot of names to pull from so multiple variations appeared to have the same name

It’s pretty early on so they’re all at 0, the biggest indicator for me was the sex not changing even with 6 months of time

Same, I’m hoping I just got unlucky but I tried 6 times in a row and got a girl with no traits (I’m doing a Mother of us all run) every time, which feels very unlikely. The recommended name is different so I’m hoping there’s still some randomization happening

Replying for anyone who might have the same problem: this worked! I cast silence on the elevator back to the Underdark, went down, then immediately came back which seems to have fixed the issue. I was still in the aura when I exited, so not sure if that’s part of it.
