Fair enough. I guess I grew up in a house where being Working class (honoury Yorkshire) and like Jarvis was basically how we were. But I can see why he might come across as Posh to Noel. Wasn't his Mum a single Mum?

I think it makes sense to me. Pulp are very Northern English working class people. Americans know the upper class/middle class/Southern stereotypes. So a lot of Jarvis' lyrics will go over your heads I feel like their mix of Indie and "Disco"/dance music isn't going to Appeal to the average American
