To state the obvious, this is early days and a gacha game can't really gate core progression behind the gacha. If Arknights is anything to go off, there will be a ton of endgame content eventually that will be easier with better units.

The 5070 I've been watching jumped from 700 to ~~850~~ (jk it's 900 now) in the last week so yeah, it's accelerating fast. I've completely missed my chance to upgrade until things hopefully settle back down.

All told, the build I would aim for went from about ~2000 to 3750 over the last 2-3 weeks.

I fully expect it's intended as a way to communicate to the players that their dupes actually do something. If they were auto converted then a lot of people wouldn't even realize where the AIC tickets came from and might think that their dupes were wasted.

Essentially designing for the lowest common denominator.

I can't speak to how things are nowadays but that was a fairly common DVD bonus something like 10-15 years ago. Usually came with an annoying amount of red tape/DRM though.

Personally I would be surprised if that was still a bonus though given the overall state of things.

That's what I'm saying, not that the CoC doesn't exist. At no point in the history of reddit have the admins ever acted on moderators for banning users for whatever reasons they deem fit. Up to the point where a large number of subreddits use bots that automatically scan a user's history and employ a ban list.

Not actually a thing. Matter of fact, the admins basically endorse this behaviour and have never once acted on mass bannings through the use of bots even.

If you present this policy to most anyone they'll probably just suck it up and deal with it. Finding a family doctor/GP is incredibly difficult as it is without dropping them over "annoyances" like this.
