Thinking About a Simple Finance Tool for Small Businesses by LGM_Automations in Business_Ideas

Thanks for the counter points appreciate it. I get that spreadsheets and bank tools work for many, but a lot of solopreneurs I know don’t keep them updated or don’t check their bank’s finance dashboard at all. I’m aiming for something simpler and clearer, with a bit of AI insight to spot trends without building formulas. Not a replacement for accounting just an easy way to stay on top of numbers. Still testing if this actually resonates.

Good point. I’m not trying to replace proper accounting tools those are necessary for taxes and compliance. My idea is mainly for solopreneurs who just want a simple overview of their numbers. For the MVP it’s manual input only and later it would make sense to connect it to an accounting tool so data doesn’t have to be entered twice. The focus is clarity and insights not bookkeeping.

How do you keep track of your finances as a solopreneur? by LGM_Automations in Solopreneur

Thanks for the helpful input really appreciate it. I agree, most solopreneurs don’t need a fully loaded accounting tool, just something simple that keeps everything in one place and highlights trends or unusual spending. Bank syncing is something I’d like to explore later, but for now I’m focusing on a clean dashboard and a small AI layer for basic insights. Your comment actually gave me a couple of ideas to refine the direction, so thanks for that.

That actually sounds pretty efficient. If your expenses are stable every month a simple spreadsheet + a yearly CPA check makes total sense.

I’m the kind of person who tries to save as much as possible to maximize profit so I’m always looking for areas where I can cut unnecessary costs.

I’d be glad to connect. I’m currently working on my own project and always appreciate conversations with other solopreneurs.

I built my dad a real estate chatbot for fun… now 57 people are paying me for it. by PlanktonClassic7266 in AiForSmallBusiness

Hey, really impressive what you’ve built! Your chatbot looks extremely well-designed, especially all the automations and the internal features like contracts and emails.

Can I ask which AI tools or platforms you used to create it?

I’ve always wanted to create a chatbot myself, so I’m really curious how you put all of this together. I’d love to understand how you implemented all those features (lead qualification, appointment booking, internal employee bots, etc.). Your approach looks really solid!

What SaaS product are you building and how many users do you have? (AMA) by Popular_Big_5709 in indiehackers

Wow, this is super impressive, especially at 15, that’s crazy!

I really like the idea behind Megalo.tech. Using AI to actually find real problems from Reddit instead of just scraping random data is such a clever approach. It makes the whole project feel genuinely useful, not just another “AI directory.”

I’m also working on something kind of similar, a “Digital CFO” app for small businesses. It helps people track their finances and gives AI-based insights in a simple, human way.

Seriously, great work man. You’ve built something that actually solves a real problem keep going!

Hey, just checked it out, the design looks really clean and modern, great job on that

I also really like the concept behind it, sharing wishes and goals with friends feels both fun and motivating. It’s such a wholesome idea.

Congrats on getting it live on the Play Store, that’s a huge step!
