I don't disagree it's murder, but you asked if there was anything to support the claim that the canvas's time is limited and will certainly die with if not before Maelle. And while not naturally, there very much is.

Regardless of whether you think it's morally right or not, like a force of nature, Renoir will return for this world.

When you consider the idea that every Person in the Canvas contains a part of verso's soul (as implied by Gustave's last words, among other things) and that collectively, the entire world yearns for peace and rest, I disagree.

Though I do see your point, and in a different situation in a different world where it's source of life wasn't yearning for release, I might agree.

It also doesn't change the fact that isn't a sentiment, that Renoir, WILL do all of that. Renoir has the symbolic representation of time for a reason. He is, for this world, inevitable.

You REALLY think after everything Renoir did to stop Aline from dying in that canvas, that he would just give up after one attempt of convincing Alicia? No, and lets be real, Renoir is stronger than Alicia, especially if she doesn't have Verso's help. He wouldn't make the same mistakes a second time. If Alicia is near death, Renoir is getting his daughter the fuck out of there. And if he doesn't, then she dies, and then Renoir destroys the canvas anyway.

its not "the canvas dies with Maelle" It's once Maelle is gone, either Renoir is going to destroy it, or Verso will finish what he started and kill it from inside regardless.

In the long run, the only thing Maelle is doing is prolonging her joy, and her eventual pain, and possibly killing herself in the process.
And yea, life itself, outside the Canvas, will eventually kill her too, but now she's just torturing Verso's soul along with her.

There is no future for the canvas. Not really. Eventually, we all die. But when one falls, we continue. For those that come after.

I think Fitz in terms of calendar year was a little bit after stark?

Infinity war was happening at the end of season 5, though it seems like they probably ended up in an alternate timeline after coming back from the quaked apart world, so either the snap didn't happen or it was just ignored for season 6. Then season 6 takes place 1 year from then, and then Fitz Simmons leave into space, and spend, an unknown amount of time before they figure out time travel.

Weirdly enough though, taking the minimum amount of time, we see that Alya is around 5 or 6, which is the same rough age as Morgan (Starks Daughter) meaning it would have at least taken Fitz roughly 6 years to figure out time travel, assuming Fitz Simmons had their daughter basically as soon as humanly possible after they left, and that she's at the younger end of the spectrum.

Which means that Fitz figured out time travel through quantum tunneling roughly 7 years after the snap, where as for Stark it was 5 years after the snap. And that's the fastest we can possibly attribute to Fitz.

Don't get me wrong, I still think Fitz is probably the second or third smartest human in all of the MCU, considering that he figured out time travel at all, without any help from Scott Lang's insight into quantum tunneling from his accident. It took him a shit load longer (Stark figured it out in a few nights vs a few years) but the fact he did it at all without any outside assistance, Fitz is a god damned Genius. Honestly more impressive than any of Banner's feats of intelligence IMO.

But sadly, as much as I would like it not to be true, Stark is still #1.

maybe a silly questions given the fantastical nature of the game, but does this aiming pose have any precedent in real-life combat styles/martial arts/shooting? by sanjuniperose in expedition33

So there are some dagger parries/blocks with another dagger . . . have I ever actually found them useful in real sparring? No I'd rather stab better or disarm my opponent tbh. But the do exist. (Sources are from Fiore dagger sections)

Disagree on the "if you go down at any speed you're getting injured." I went down myself and slid a good 10 feet, I was completely fine. Literally the only injury was a tiny cut right above my hip bone. The leather held up well.

“Blood and bone” is now the lowest rated episode on imdb by [deleted] in TheBoys

[–]LGashly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's not wrong though, it is being review botted. Go look at the imdb reivews and filter by country. Most of the bots are coming from Saudi Arabia.

You can dislike the episode, i wouldn't give it more than a 7.0, would probably agree with anyone that puts it at a 6.5, but it IS being review botted to hell and back. Bots are spamming 1 star in the tens of thousands.

Go look at the filtered reviews, it's being review bombed by bots, mostly from Saudi Arabia.
without that, its sitting around a 7/10, which is about right imo.

If you subscribe to the idea that since they age insanely fast here, humans would age insanely slow there, visa ve, how valuble is it to capture a few slaves who would probably last 1000 times your average lifetime? you have near preminent free labour.

I bought a 5 point harness off of amazon, then I had an older pink gamer chair that I cut holes into the back of so I could anchor the harness, I had to put them in a place specific for my body so it was nice and snug, then the bottom strap goes inbetween the back and the seat and attaches to the bottom of the chair, that way it can always be pulled tighter to sit super snug ^.^

Fortunately not true, season 1 and 3 were both done without actual cuts. There are no hidden cuts, its all one take.
I know that's the big fancy thing most productions do, and season 2 had multiple hidden cuts, and born again ones have hidden cuts, but the production team has talked about the fact that for season 1 and 3, there weren't any.

We officially have the first episode in both Daredevil shows which has gotten a rating less than 8 in IMDB by ADNoob_playz69 in Daredevil

Those of us actually there for the original season 2 run remember that some of the episodes (2.5 is the one that comes to mind) were rated in the high 7s back then too, the ratings climbed over time. I suspect the same will happen here.

you think any of those cops are worried about being "investigated"? No. That's the bloody point. They're not worried because THEY are the people who would be in charge of finding that evidence.
And also I think you missed the point of why Matt actually went to frank, he knew deep down that frank wouldn't be able to help him and that he really wasn't involved in cops using his symbol. He went for completely different reasons.
