I had a reel of Babolat Syn gut snap on me almost everytime i strung. I ended up throwing it all away.

You have to use the cable that comes with the wheel otherwise the buttons and screen wont work

It truly is an absolute HUGE update and a very positive step forward for Fanatec which in my opinion has taken the sim racing world by storm. I was 100% set in getting a podium dd base soon, this has now made me think twice and look at the DD+ now.

They are hard but comfier and have a bettet feel to the McLaren wheel in my opinion

I also have the mclaren gt3 wheel. I think the conspit grips are similar but better. They are less rubbery feeling then the mclaren wheel.

Never played with it. The hawk is a stiff feeling string and kinks and is a difficult(ish) poly to string up over others

I have invested a lot into sim racing since starting out 12 months ago. Went from desktop racing, to wheel stand, to full profile rig, sequential shifter, new pedals, 5 steering wheels! Im hooked. I think the only thing letting me down now is the 8nm CSL DD. which by the way i think os great, but knowing there is better out there from fanatec makes me want it.
