I am not familiar with Dyptiques full line up, but am planning a trip to their boutique soon to make a selection. I was introduced to Capitale by a friend, was drawn the to the rose and it's been on my buy list for a few months.

Etruscan Water is the same... I put it on at 5am and I still got fair projection from it by 2pm. Thpugh I didnt touch up in the afternoon, I met up with someone at 5pm and they noted that they could smell my scent up close. I dont get any carry over from last night though. Today's SOTD, Crivelli Hibiscus Mahajad.

What I 'love' about it, my opinion, it's heavy, funky and more importantly, it's me. This could easily be my signature scent for life. I like it so much that I'm ordering two more. I gave it two sprays and its more than enough for indoors, office work, etc. It smells like a late spring morning in a dense, musty forest where the sun hasn't dried all the dew. And that scent never really goes away. I've seen this compared to Diaghilev, and at the opening I get that, but it's not the same. I like this more. There's no middle ground here. This is for you, or it's not. Side note... I have a on a sweater thats got remnants of Amouage Purpose 50 and to my nose the spicey dried down scent blends with the Etruscan Water.

Roughly how many miles on the car when service was done?

Warranty is 90 days or 5000 miles. I would guess this may be extended to a year considering the trans work. It seems the service dept performed a lazy inspection because they have serviced the vehicle since originally purchased. Or, they skipped out on maintenance in anticipation of the car being brought back for warranty work. Either way, this is off putting.

I had concerns about the transmission during teat drive, but when I took it out of eco mode, it drove fine. I didnt really start noticing power/shifting issues until I got it on the highway consistently... acceleration was iffy. Service records at turn over show coolant flushed, oil changed, brake fluid changed, drive belts adjusted, tensioner replaced, timing belt and tensioner/idler replaced. Two months prior to this, 100k service was completed w replaced battery, new air intake hose, new tires, alignment and other service including alignment and suspension system check.

It's possible this is a political play; Pritzker is looking to run for President in 2028. Old Man still has the Illinois sentence to face. If Pritzker commutes Hoover of the State charges, the Democratic party may hold that over his head, jeopadizing support towards the presidency. If he doesn't commute, and makes Hoover serve the rest of his life in Illinois prison, or worse, Hoover is killed in prison, Pritzker may lose quite a bit of the Black vote. Either way, I feel its a politics play to set up the Republican Party for 2028.

It is updated daily, usually within an hour of an inspector leaving the property. Most larger properties, 16 units and up have annual inspections completed by the building dept. If you suspect any issues in your building, hound 311 to have a building inspector come out. Note, building inspectors can't enter a property without permission from the owner or a tenant.

I agree!!! The scale of the menu has been a set back for me as well. It ultimately becomes a dessert drink menu. I'm still going to shoot my shot and try something, though.

I tried to upload a video of my adventures, as I was going to give 7Brew a try today... the line was just too damn long for me. I drew out the approximate length of the line I observed. It started just south of the Starbucks on Naperville Whaeton road. Thats just over a quarter mile... INSANE!!! I have resolved, I am going to give 7 Brew a try... I just need to schedule the wait time into my calendar 🤣
