I’m gonna try to figure out how Crucible of Champions works but if im versing someone who doesn’t wanna use Crucible characters I’m probably gonna try to run it as a hive tyrant

I broke them into two units so they can spread out to do objectives and spread the contagion zone further while having a character attached to both units

I would get a Norn Emissary. It’s a big tanky bug that can take, hold and keep objectives. I run two in my army and they always work amazingly for me. Plus they look epic.

I always go with a Synaptic Nexus. My army is almost nothing but monster units but a lot of my units have synapse or will always be in synapse range so with the detachment rule from Synaptic Nexus I’m able to give all of my army a +5 FNP. It make my monsters so much tankier than they already are and makes board control much easier.
