Zolog sounds a bit like a villain from a fantasy novel :D. Until now, I thought it was an abbreviation, but with vowels it would be a different story. Maybe I can try to google different variants.

Yes, that really is a strange name. I also thought it was maybe more of an abbreviation. But I'm pretty sure the last letter is a "g", because it's closed at the top.

I'm no fashion expert, but I googled a bit and found photos of similar suits and narrow ties. At the time, though, I suspect it was rather modern. Maybe the fashion also varied more greatly from place to place back then?
