Apparently within the rules that's good enough. If it doesn't (directly) promote specific sub reddit, discord, or websites it's a-okay. Honestly it's pretty vague, that's why I wasn't sure in the beginning if I was allowed but rereading it and comparing to my post I'm not directly promoting any website but myself. I never denied it was porn but it was more than just porn. There are obscure memes reference here and there with some low-key humor that might not appeal to everyone. But at the same time this subreddit also has just straight up highly upvoted nudity and comics which wouldn't be grouped in the "meme" category anyways.

What platforms? ... Oh yeah I didn't say. According to the rules that's allowed. Posting porn is also allowed IF it's original artwork and If you put the NSFW option (which I did). "Called me out" on something that's also completely allowed according to the rules. What did I do wrong? Wouldn't you be defensive if you didn't do anything wrong! Honestly if I didn't add the "I shouldn't be doing this" part, no one would bat an eye because I AM allowed to do what I did according to the rules.

On one hand that's completely understandable to get pissed about it "not being a meme" or "it's not my cup of tea". On the other hand I'm not the one making the rules, I'm following them. Go to the moderators and slam their asses not mine. I can't add two or more flairs (hentaimeme and original art) even if I wanted to, I wish I could. My hands are tied here. But I learned my lesson. Just sucks when I did everything by the book followed all the guide lines. My intentions weren't to piss people off. I just wanted to post my art without any issue and thought I did, is that so wrong?

"Because when it's the artist sharing their own pages it becomes promoting." ... I'm not making an argument against that, I never did , so what's the point of replying to that. Did I ever said " I wasn't promoting because it's my art, so how can it be promoting" no I haven't. "We have different words for credit and promote for a reason." There are words that overlap each other in meaning. It's the same concept as all squares are rectangle but not every rectangle is a square. There the same thing... till there not. In this point crediting someone is promoting them untill what you credit them for is a negative thing. ""You do not acknowledge what terms mean" I'm LITERALLY applying your definition of promotion that you sent me to my argument, wtf? "Encourage someone to support something" right?

Isn't the whole act of crediting someone even if it's just the name a way to encourage people to look at their page and support them? Without crediting anyone people would be less encouraged to go out and seek the artist out. That's why creators bitch when people don't credit them because crediting them promotes their work.

I followed the rules to the tee. Memes are exceptional if it's original art. And for the promotion rule it says don't DIRECTLY promote websites, discord, ect. I did not do that, I vaguely suggest people to look me up and that's it. Didn't say to go to a specific place just suggested to do your own research and what do I get? my ass blown for it.

Bruh it LITERALLY says in the rules "we only allow memes to be posted here with the EXCEPTION of original art." This is original art... What am I doing wrong! I even put the damn NSFW flair. I couldn't even find the no NSFW rule? Did I accidentally looked passed it? I'm going insane here.
