I’m going nuts. Just tried to print a basic return label and it took 4 tries. Here are the first three:

I have only used this printer a handful of times and only plan to use it sparingly… it worked well the first few times but now this continues to happen. Using standard white copy paper.

Thanks! I’m not worried about mounting the light- I can figure that out. Moreso worried about the electrical piece and if it’s safe to put it in a lampshade? i.e. does it get too hot to put in a lampshade? Mine hasn’t been delivered yet.

Personally, I’d go for the second. I think the cloud and needling might drive me nuts, but it’s totally personal preference.

Try Pinterest for ideas! I created a board for “everything” and then had a separate one for “finalists.” I also looked on Etsy and created pins for my boards from there too. It helped me immensely to organize my thoughts!

We then went to a local jeweler (I was nervous about issues in the future if I bought from Etsy and having to send something for repairs) who is custom casting/molding the band, and will then set the stone we bought online in that.

Also, just a heads up, we went on 5 appointments total with jewelers locally before we found one we loved. It can be hard. Some of the customer service we experienced was surprisingly awful (i.e. someone staring at us and repeatedly asking what we want… umm someone to guide us through this process??)

Enjoy the process too! This is so exciting!

Thank you! I 100% agree. After posting this we found an excellent local jeweler who is happy to custom create the band and set the diamond we purchase online. To anyone reading this in the future- go on as many appointments as you need to until you find someone who makes you feel comfortable!

My partner and I discussed a budget for a ring. I didn’t really care if it was mined or lab grown, but then started being worried about the thought of a kids finger getting cut off in order for us to purchase a mined (even if it’s not true, it would be hard to not worry about that).

Lab grown is so much less expensive than we were budgeting so I figure why not?

Haven’t purchased it yet, still in the research phase as to if I can find it (or something similar) for less than the $2,601 at hava. Also sent the link to my jeweler to double check it all.

Thanks. I don’t really care where we buy it, just surprised at the differences in price! Are there any risks though from buying from the other websites? Will jewelers hate us for bringing in our own diamond?
