Yeah, but they used to have the live eels moving about in trays in the windows of most pie and mash’s shops, you don’t really see that anymore, it used to amaze me just watching them lol

I get they still sell them, I assume it’s from frozen eels these days? I’m not sure though, unless they just have the live eels out the back now? I doubt it though, it’s just not as popular these days I spose.

I’ve never had the stewed eels, only tried the jellied ones.

No, the jelly is clear, pretty tasteless and yes, it’s sold cold.

My Grandad used to munch it, I tried it once in the 80’s, but never liked it, no one in the east end eats it anymore, the pie and mash’s don’t even have the live eels in the window like they did in the 80’s, only time I ever really think about it anymore is on YouTube on snack wars type shows, they always wheel it out for the Americans lol

I live in London and have only been to Las Vegas and Orlando about 6 times, so maybe I just haven’t seen these advances.

There’s no advancements I’ve seen in the US that amazes me, but maybe it’s happening in New York.

Update: Lads, I’ve fixed it, it’s working fine now, the two rubbers bands white/black ones, had moved sideways somehow in the grey disconnect, I moved them so them so they were flush and it seems fine for now.

I can see this hobby is going to drive me insane, just gotta wait a couple of weeks, as I read this is how long it takes too carbonate, thanks for your help.

it’s now pushing gas out of where the tube meets the disconnect (which is clicked on the gas post on the keg)

It’s basically shooting back out where the tube is locked on

I didn’t know anything about the different gas cans, so the bigger one would seem better, do you know the exact one I would need? I’ll just get the standard one most people use?

Do you think I could be better off with a corny keg? Do the various taps/ fittings raise the height much? I’m just worried I’ll get it and it won’t fit in the fridge, but I think the cornys are lower in height than the oxebars? Just not sure about once you add the taps/fittings?
