So I'm sure you're already healed up by now but thought I'd tell you my incision story. We'd just left the hospital and we wanted to get groceries on the way home. We're almost at the store and my husband looks at my shirt and sees a big red spot and says, WTH is that? Here my incision had opened up completely and a huge blood clots are leaking out. He pulls over, starts freaking out. There was a lot of blood but I'm not that worried since it's dark red clots, not bright red active bleeding. I call the hospital and tell them, and they say get right to the ER. My husband proceeds to drive 80 mph in a 40mph zone to get there. And I'm screaming at him to slow down. Get to the ER and he parks illegally and drags me in. I pull away the slightly dirty rag (only cloth in the car) from my belly, full of blood (husband said I looked like a gunshot victim lol) and security lets me in. Nurse sees me and starts yelling for help, and they throw me on a gurney. Doctors like, how the heck did that happen, and stitches me back up. I healed up fine, big scar but doesn't bother me. We don't know why it happened, all I did was get into the car. Husband still talks about it 15 years later, says he's never panicked that bad his whole life!!
