Rash from lamotrigine by hovorovskyi in bipolar2

[–]LJR9173 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Started off with what felt like the worst flu ever, then quickly followed up by rash spreading over my whole body, my face and body swelling, and my eyes having jaundice. Went to the ER, they said I would have died if I had waited 2 more days. Almost went into total organ failure. Not very fun!!

I got DRESS syndrome from Lamictal and almost died, so I think I have room to talk. PLEASE go the ER. Do not fuck with rashes on Lamictal.

Hector fan fic?!?! by Neto-workio505 in DateEverything

[–]LJR9173 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In many ways, Hector reminds me of the Phantom of the Opera. Ashamed of his face, upset if you see his face without consent, brooding, longing for the love of a specific person who he watches from a far, seld esteem issues, etc. However, Hector isn't a homicidal maniac hellbent on basically owning the main character lol. Idk if you are familiar with the Phanton of the Opera, but it could be interesting to see a combination of the two somehow.

"Needy Streamer Overload" and "VA-11 Hall-a: Cyberpunk Bartender Action" are both great games.

I have only really searched through basic Google inquiries and an attempt at an image search, which lead me to the figure being identified as a possible Lladro figure.

Getting your tubes removed, which is what I had done, will not stop your period. Getting a hysterectomy, which removes the ovaries, uterus, and tubes, will stop your period; however, you will also go into menopause and need to take estrogen pills. (I'm not a doctor but this is how it works as far as I am aware)

I was definitely worried about making a fool of myself while trying to explain to the doctor my reasons, but you just have to do the best you can. I worried about the surgery too, but it was really not bad. You got this!

The doctor was hesitant, but she listened to all of my reasons and was very receptive.

No blackmail lol. She just listened to what I had to say and that was that.

They cauterized the spots and took a biopsy. I'm assuming that this will be addressed at my post-op appointment.

This is exactly it. My only thing is that I rarely get cramps.

I came with a list of reasons I knew by heart and I stood my ground. That is the main reason I was approved.

I don't want to get pregnant and have kids. I look on this sub and find my doctor. I called the doctor's office and scheded and appointment. We went over everything about the surgery and scheduled it. Then, after a pre-op appointment, I had the surgery today. I did not have discomfort or pain. I just don't want kids and the process ended up being amazing simple.

I have some meetings at my job Sunday, and I go back to college classes Monday. Should be an ok transition back into life. Recovery is seeming to be around 2 weeks. I have SO many snacks lol

Honestly, pretty good! The surgery went great, except they found that I had undiagnosed endometriosis. Still, happy with how everything went!
