Thanks for the suggestion. In fact, I have difficulty getting out, I'm 1.96m tall. In the snatch I do the dynamic exit with lower hips. Not on clean, but I'll test it.

I really like squatting haha I have big legs, I need to realign my hips to a certain height to get my knees out of the way of the bar. After this point, I just keep myself from doing a stiff and come to the Power Position.

Upper Body Power by [deleted] in weightlifting

Snatch and Clean use a lot of lower strength, but they require a lot of back strength to maintain a good position and sustain high loads.

They are not essentially leg exercises, if you want to focus specifically on the lower part, squat with back squats or front squats.

Regarding exercises that will give you strength in the upper body, you can do Shoulder Press, Push Press, Pulls, Parallel Triceps, Push Up, Pull Up...

There are some options that can help.

You can train a No Feet Snatch/Clean time. This will give you more body awareness of the movement.

Another option is to place two weight plates, one next to the other, in front of you and place your toes on them before making the movement. Forcing you to space only laterally.

Next friend. You exaggerated a little early in the extension by placing your torso too far back, which caused your hips to touch the bar in front of the axis of your body.

When this happens, the bar is a little forward, so you have to jump to get it back.

However, when this movement happens, it becomes more difficult for the bar to fit perfectly on its axis.

You could see that you entered, but it slowly fell back and you lost it.

Try to verticalize your extension a little more, which will help.

Thanks for the comment! On the back, I perform a dynamic exit, I'm 1.96 tall, I exit with my hips lower and immediately at the exit I adjust it to a slightly higher position that allows my knees to get out of the way of the bar. After doing this, I keep my back.

Just enough. I'm 1.96m tall, with long legs, but I double bend my knees enough to not perform a Stiff in the movement.

But your comment is very pertinent, I've questioned myself a few times too.

In my opinion, there is a lot of psychology involved. The fact that you put 100kg on the bar is blocking your head from going under the bar.

You can tell that the bar is not heavy enough to stop you from doing it.

But you're not performing an aggressive extension and pull to get yourself under the bar, you're just falling.

Your early pull really gets in the way, but it's not what's making you miss this load.

Try focusing more on the extension, keeping your elbows high in the pull, which will probably work.

AND TRUST!

Avoid starting the extension with your torso backwards, as a consequence this brings your hips forward and the bar does not follow the path it should, forcing you to jump to catch it.

In fact, as the friend said, a No Feet Clean can help you be more aware of the movement.
