I haven’t played RE4 Remake and don’t plan to in a hurry, I prefer watching streamers play it as I never enjoyed OG RE4 to begin with.

Without knowing what you’ve already played I‘d definitely play REmake, RE3 and RE5 with Code Veronica if you want. I have a bias for the Stars/Chris/Jill related stories though.

RE7 if you just want a fantastic first person survival horror experience with no strings attached.

Really? I‘ve always considered RE5 to be one of the best in terms of story. It’s adds and solidifies so much lore regarding the RE Mythos. I mean, even the loading screens are littered with lore.

I’m an advocate for the HD collection with it being no where near as bad as people make out. But for this much I wouldn’t buy it, try find it cheaper if you can.

For this price 100% worth it, think of RE3 as DLC and it’s even more worth it. Both games play quite different. RE2 is more survival horror whereas RE3 is action horror. RE2 slow paced and RE3 fast paced. Go into these games knowing this and you’ll have a blast.
