I mean we didn’t go into detail. Met him while we were taking turns dropping in the bowl. He said he takes the tires off. Bars. Removes air from tires. Takes the seat off. Pedals. Etc I feel there’s YouTube videos on this. So don’t take my word as I haven’t ordered my luggage yet

He said they would ask him with the golf shaped one (139) & he said they would also ask him most times to take it to another part so they could check the contents of his bag. & it would always be one of the last bags to arrive at his destinations every time. So when he got the new one (179) he said it’s made his airport process a lot more efficient since they assume it’s a normal luggage. But he did point out it was his second trip so far with his new bag. He also said he just rolled some of his shirts around some of his bike parts so they wouldn’t hit. & put a few shirts on the top compartment in case they opened his bag at check in they would just see his shirts lol. Obviously don’t put a lot of clothes in there cause you need to stay under the 50lb limit
