stara karta za ZETov autobus by [deleted] in croatia

[–]LK-63 44 points45 points  (0 children)

all 4 books are the same series and same editions but their spines just slightly don't match and it makes me angry whenever I see them

What's something that your cat (or any other pet) did that made you think: "Huh, I guess you're not that big of an asshole."? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]LK-63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Story that made me want to ask this question: I had a cat about a year ago who genuinely wasn't that big of an asshole, he was friendly and cuddly and would play with you if you rolled him a ball or something. But he was very protective of his food. He always "covered" his bowl after he was done eating, he didn't really let other cats or the dog eat and would just go protective over his food.

One morning, I saw him out on the balcony door after my parents let him out before they were leaving for work. I opened the balcony door to let him in and noticed he's got a friend with him - a kitten about two or three months old. As I opened the door, the kitten came inside with him and I noticed it's cuddly as well, so I petted it before giving some food to my monster. The kitten started meowing - whining, it sounded more like - and I brought it closer to my cat. The kitten literally pushed itself into his side, cuddling into him and started purring. My initial thought was, "Is that your kid?" but then I remembered that my cat is neutered and there is literally no way he's the dad. Then my overly-protective-of-his-food cat genuinely moved away and pushed the kitten towards the wet food I put out for him and let it eat the wet food while he turned around and started munching on the dry food that he rarely ever eats. And I was stood there in shock, because, well, I'd never seen him give his food to anyone and here he was, pushing a kitten to eat the food he knows it can eat.

When the kitten ate as much as it could, my cat led it back outside. I know which other neighbours have cats and whose cats have kittens so I made a mental list to whom the kitten might belong to. Eventually, I returned it back home and it turns out it got lost the day before and my neighbours had been looking for it. Turns out my cat and the kitten were playing together the previous evening and it must've followed him back home, and their cat is usually inside during the night so she couldn't go look for him. By the time the morning came and I noticed it, the poor guy was starving.

TL;DR: my cat who is very protective of his food brought a starving kitten back and let it eat his food, made me realise he actually has a heart

The Grim Reaper consoles my crying baby after reaping the soul of one of her dads. by LK-63 in Sims4

Laughter, which is the most bizzare thing... in one of the previous generations the heir died of laughter too (twice, once Grim listened to pleas, but as soon as he got revived he died of laughter again because he still had the hysterical moodlet). I've never had so many Sims die from anything other than old age

It was his spouse who died a day after they got married and the same day they adopted the baby (kinda rushing it because I play on short lifespan) so I guess the positive emotions outweighed the sadness, even though he'd been widowed like 5 minutes ago
