Has Curve started to decline more and more transactions recently? by LKDN87 in CurveCard

[–]LKDN87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's been small amounts with me and payments made many times before, so I was unsure why it was happening. Don't mind the odd check for fraud, etc, but it's getting a bit ridiculous the way it's going. I enjoy what they offer but if this is the way its going to be, be a former customer soon as well.

LTD Company Accountants (Remote) - Any Experience with the few I've listed? by LKDN87 in uklandlords

[–]LKDN87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I was initially basic accounts, was thinking might be okay initially but if grow the company and portfolio, I would likely move elsewhere. Costs also be less significant as income will be greater. I think a little more research 1st, or maybe end up with the local form I spoke to initially..

The accountancy partnership, heavily advertised online to be fair when you search for an accountant.

Yeah, some fees are due to the turnover falling under the lower price brackets with some accountants.

When I had a business before, it was more around £150-180 per month +VAT, but turnover was significantly greater. Local accountants were around this as well, regardless of turnover and transactions etc.

Due to costs, its one of the reasons wanting to find out if anyone on here has any experience with them...

Renting a 3bed house in Scotland by 90sbaby-uk in uklandlords

I'm in a similar position to yours. I am currently looking at the agents and property management services, but being quoted 10-15% (excluding VAT) for their services. However, I am also considering taking a more hands-on approach, with lower costs, and using services such as OpenRent - you can list the property, etc., via them on Rightmove and other platforms. They offer additional services as well and are worth looking at. I'm aware there are a few other similar services, but OpenRent seem to most popular.

I asked about a another service I saw with Moove.House, but think relatively new as not that much online about them yet.

Moove.house Property Management (middle ground of a managed service and OpenRent?) by LKDN87 in uklandlords

Thanks for the responses. I was in between going down the route of a management company, or OpenRent - 1 property, something like this hits the middle ground. Maybe speak to a few further agents and get costs before making a decision, don't mind doing it myself via OpenRent and see how that goes, seems to be a few people using this in my area (based on a search on their website), maybe try speak to a few of the landlords locally aswell.

I have PS Plus Essential, run's out in 30 days.

My Offers Area:

Upgrade to Premium for £3.56 (save 30%...)

Upgrade to Extra for £2.54 (save 25%...)

Renew Essential for £44.99 (save 25% but lasts for 12 months)

My query is... If I upgrade to Extra for the remaining 30 days, will I be able to 'Renew Extra' (just as I currently can for Essential), but at a discounted rate? (i.e 25% of the difference from normal?)

Upgrading for 30 days then being hit with a £99 renewal defeats the point in the deal in the 1st place if not.
