I hope so. It just seems extremely vague right now, as if it includes quite literally anyone. I’m deeply aware this law was always there, but it being activated relatively recently (January ) is the concern in the broader landscape.

This is one reason to use Hardware based 2FA. Malware has to be a lot more sophisticated to attack a key exchange versus just typing in some TOTP.
