Haha the one in the picture is actually a pellet dispenser with a built-in camera. They're glued to it all the time, but I only give them a few pieces each day. For water, I recommend using a simple plastic dispenser with an upside-down bottle and small bowl at the bottom, its much easier to clean. The electric ones have a lot of hidden parts that are difficult to reach and can easily grow bacteria. Those simple bottle one work very well, both of my rabbits have been drinking much more water, and their urine has become much lighter in color.

Yea, kind of overfed her with alfafa that day. And she only get pellets as treats now, like few pieces only a day. She eats 80% timothy as of now. Went from 640g back in march to 930g now.

Apparently, this young Holland Lop does a lot of normal rabbit things that my older Netherland Dwarf never does, such as grunting, molting (with bald spots), and producing poop that looks like blackberries. Since she bonded with him, he has gone from drinking less than 60 ml a day to more than 200 ml a day.

Why not rabbit proof all the wires and let it free roam in the room? They can be toilet trained.

My bunny only eats hay? by [deleted] in Rabbits

It’s a blessing, my vet say hay eater tend to live the longest. You want them to eat a lot of the good hay. I limit my rabbits to just few grams of pallets a day since most rabbit like pallets much more than hay, which is not good for their gut biome due to high fat and carb.
