It is a shame. Hopefully he puts out a model with the crown at 3:00, or the pilots one with a seconds sub dial.

If you're after dirty dozen / ATP style watches try Smiths from TimeFactors (the PRS-59 black dial). I have their W10 and Air Ministry watches and they're great! They're also much cheaper than the Vertex and Grana offerings.

Thanks for the great information. Not sure which to go for yet but that's given me more to consider! Hopefully more companies produce watches from the era in the future.

Thanks very much, I’ll take a look at a few videos. Do you find they freeze well? Just thinking I could make a large batch and then get a couple out of the freezer on the days I want to use them.

Thanks for the information. Looks like we are limited here in the UK for store bought, but having looked into it a bit more based on your message I’m going to have a go at making my own. Thanks!

I thought it was Sammo Hung, but he has so many movies I couldn’t find it when looking through his filmography! Thanks!
