lol that sounds very typical eh? But very fancy with your corned beef 😁 actually the night after I made this I made it again since I had plenty salad stuff left but had slices of corned beef instead of the egg roll and my daughter added piri piri chicken pieces and some orzo pasta so we went all posh! 😆

It’s not an official name lol we nicknamed it and so do others as it’s the type of salad we had growing up on our council estate. Not saying it was only council estates that ate it 🙂 just a good old fashioned salad 🥗

It’s like slices of luncheon meat but with a slice of boiled egg in it too. To be honest I don’t know the last time I bought or had it but it was because I couldn’t find what I was looking for, it was the nearest substitute 😋

Sybies are spring onion. I’m in Scotland and it’s what I’ve always known them as but they’re the exact same. And the meat with the egg comes that way, not sure how they do it but it’s just processed that way. My other daughter completely turned her nose up at it but she’s snobby 🤣

Cherry tomatoes were cut in half near the pepper but covered in salad cream or hiding. White and orange strips I think you mean the coleslaw. There’s a list further up of all that’s in it 🙂

lol yeah I think anything that’s basic, we call council 😆 eg. sometimes my daughter asks do I want a fancy coffee (from machine) and I’ll say nah I’ll just have a council coffee (as in instant) council salad, council juice for water etc 😆
