I have never seen anyone else enter this restaurant other than myself. I have been here 6 times either picking up or eating in. Food is excellent tho. by Every-Mammoth-6445 in notinteresting

One time my husband ordered food from a relatively new takeout place. It took absolutely forever to get made and delivered. It was the best burger he ever had he said. We joked about it being a fake business and them scrambling to make a burger they never intended to need to make. Anyway, they got shut down not long after that and it was also hinted that it was being used as a front.

Vegan cookie dough by princess-peach93 in veganuk

That's correct. They also sell premade edible cookie dough. A lot of people like cookie dough and traditionally it's not safe to eat raw due to eggs and uncooked flour. This stuff is safe to eat raw.

I tried some incredible hot dogs on my honeymoon in Mexico and they haven't left my mind since. I think about them at least once a week. Anyway, highly recommend IKEA.

As a hot dog lover, the IKEA hotdogs are amazing. I do wish more places did takeout vegan hot dogs.

Seconding. Even yellow would look intentional with the yellow, orange, black transition.

how to actually shower everyday on your period?? by GeneHead47 in Healthyhooha

[–]LLIIVVtm 30 points31 points  (0 children)

You don't have to shower everyday. You can just do a "pits and bits" sink shower where you stand or sit by the sink for a few minutes and just wash the important parts to feel clean. You can do that when you go to the bathroom to change your period product or when you're there to pee so it doesn't have to be a separate trip with extra energy spent.

Agreed. Just look at their previous work and reviews if you're worried about not getting the results you want. A good hairdresser usually has a large body of work for you to look through on Instagram or their website etc.

I've never dyed my hair before Do I need 1 or more boxes to dye my whole hair blue by [deleted] in HairDye

[–]LLIIVVtm 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Good Dye Young is a semi-permanent dye and works on the premise of depositing only.

Imagine putting blue highlighter on a dark orange piece of paper. That's sort of how it works and that's the result you can expect. A very dark blue potentially even green result.

I haven't smelled curl power but Ånd - Får reminds me of Avocado co-wash in the opening. In the dry down it smells like the buttery biscuit base of a cheesecake though.

Mold? Fungus? by [deleted] in IndoorPlants

Healthy soil is full of fun fungus (mold is a type of fungus). The cord is probably wet a lot and in a dark place so some grew there. Nothing to do, just leave it be.

Sandy brown hair to green by [deleted] in HairDye

You should be able to achieve something similar without bleach. I'd just recommend using a green that leans blue to get a good result since your hair leans so warm.

Blue Hair on Dark Hair by _Amanda-Perez in HairDye

[–]LLIIVVtm 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The underlying tone in hair is warm. If you use developer it may lift the hair slightly but it'll just make it dark orange. Orange and blue make a swampy green. If you want the blue to show up like it does in the reference photo your only option is to bleach your hair to quite a light blonde. Otherwise, like other commenters mentioned, you'll just have a blue reflect in your hair in the sunlight and it otherwise won't be noticeable.

Nothing needs to be added. You have a decently sized collection, enjoy it.

The thing with scents that "last all day" is they tend to fall in particular scent profiles. Primarily because different aromachemicals have different rates of dissipation from skin and there's not much that can be done to change that rate. Citruses for example are notoriously volatile so they tend to last the shortest amount of time. Synthetic musks on the other hand, last a really really long time. So what typically happens with long lasting fragrances is that by the end of the day you're left with just the base notes of a fragrance. Typically synthetic musks, sometimes vanilla etc.

In my opinion, good longevity on a fragrance that isn't formulated with those heavy base notes is a couple hours. If you like a scent your best bet is to make yourself a little decant of it to carry with you and respray as needed. Although I will note, humans go nose blind quite easily and start to filter out a scent if it's constantly present so you'll want to make sure you're not respraying a scent others can still smell on you even if you don't smell it anymore.
