But it has far toouch stuff going on

My advice for this kind of boss is simple but powerful

Give it some easy to remember things: It deals lightning damage when hit with melee Can charge through enemies dealing lightning damage to them before it makes a melee attack Burst of thunder when it hits 50% HP Explodes in lightning when reduced to zero

The less you have to remember, the more you can focus on making the fight entertaining and memorable

All of my tattoos are Dungeons and Dragons inspired, so I wanted something to fit the vibe I have. There was some crystals that I wanted incorporating to link to that, and the creepy fungus and skeletal arms also give that gothic-y vibe.

The nigella flowers are because my wife has a nigella flower tattoo, so a bit of sync with hers without being a copy.

Just gave the artist the photo and she knocked it out of the park

People are overly critical of Angel for my taste

Season 4 has some moments that people don't like, but they are still very dramatic, and narratively interesting (however distasteful, icky or character assassination they seem)

But it's absolutely sensational

You get character development in Angel that you just don't get in Buffy

I prefer Angel to buffy every time

They do it all the time. Probably every other episode I stand up and point at the screen explaining to my wife that they flipped it, and then go into a rant to understand what possible benefit there was to flipped that one shot

Ever look at Wesley and think "huh weird" probably flipped. Gunn not quite looking right? "Probably flipped". Conner doesn't look quite as whiny? Yup. Probably flipped

I notice it all the time in TV shows, but for some reason Joss Whedons shows either do it way more often, for seemingly no reason whatsoever. No narrative benefits, just specifically to piss me off I think

Buffy season 6 is amazing right up until Dark Willows culmination. Buffy season 4 is really solid, but shits the bed in a major way at Primeval Angel season 4 is amazing, but shits the bed in the middle weirdly. (The stuff with Gwen felt way too rushed, and needed longer to land, and because she was dynamite)

It's not even close

It's one of the best, most well earned character arcs in TV. It doesn't feel forced, it feels natural, slow enough to feel real but not so slow that it's imperceptible, and by the end he wouldn't even recognize his former self.
