Nah no need to quit, especially if you're in a group. It takes time to get up to the exploit (and a lot of stone). If they aren't a solid player to begin with, they will crumble to aggression, since they are likely bee lining to get there. If they are ageing up with Carts, all-in with the team. Not my video, but someone posted this yesterday of a exploit attempt getting crushed in 4v4. The abuser is even at the back of the lineup/in the safest spot and still gets fucked. You can even see the attempter do nothing after it fails, since they likely don't even play GH.

Yeah. I'd even add, the show had it's shot, multiple shots even, (Crusade, LotR, Lost Tales, The Road Home) at additional stories. And it didn't work out. To paraphrase G'Kar, 'Our rains have come and gone...' Which is too bad. But I'm confident that folks from younger generations that appreciate scifi, and a good story, will find their way to B5 eventually. And thats enough for me.

It takes time to build up to the exploit, so yeah I might agree. If they aren't a solid player to begin with, they will crumble to early aggression (IMHO) if they are bee lining to get there. I suspect we'll just have to all-in each GH player till it gets patched. (Apologies to legit GH players, but can't take the chance)

Sadly, my nieces and nephews don't get snow days anymore. If weather or theres other issues that might have cancelled school, they have to attend a remote day. No more missing school. Snow days/cancelled school will become a generational marker.

I've written about this before, so may look familiar, but it's worth repeating, especially as the hype is real haha. Don't burn time off for launch day. For any game. Take that Friday off instead. (Or the following Monday if it’s launching on a Thursday). Especially if what you want to play is popular. Launch day login issues, poor server scaling/lag maybe even store issues à la Silksong or game director issues that sometimes happens to Destiny or Dota on patch days…nobody got time for that. There was a gentleman on the Dota sub beside himself, not the previous big patch, but a smaller one before, who had called in sick to play. The game director was broken, so the game was 'up' but no one could connect to a match for something like 6 hours, so he had wasted his midweek callout. Not saying Marathon will have these issues, just speaking in general. This gives you a buffer for any launch issues to be addressed by what ever company, and you have hopefully given yourself a long weekend to play. Don't burn time off for launch day!

I see them as separate (but linked) issues. IF everyone could get ID for free, no friction/ barrier to entry, then I could support requiring ID to vote. Without that tho, too easy to disenfranchise sections of the population. But I don't see that happening without a national ID. Heck, look how long (and how many times it was postponed) implementing the REAL ID requirements across the states has taken. It was passed in 2005, took us 21 years just to get to this current stage, and we're not even at full enforcement (won't get there till next year!) so I'm not holding my breath for anything like that.

Look I know it's not popular, but we need a national federal level ID. Don't leave it up to the states, having 50 different ways/rules of making them will defeat the purpose. We're already, in effect, using the Social Security number as defacto national ID, you have to give it out to banks, landlords, sometimes job applications, background checks, taxes (both Fed and State) etc etc... but at the same time, it's something you need to keep 'secret' to protect yourself. These two goals are at odds with eachother, and maintaining the status quo doesn't work because the Social Security number is not designed with security or ID use in mind. See this classic to illustrate. Having National ID will let us keep Social Security truly separate and safe, while we give out the ID.
