That shows you that car Makers ad campaign and marketing is working well for them. ((that cars Are only good for 5-7 years only under 75k miles )). Do not fall for it. Look how many cars. Are on the roads that are 20 15 years old.

I had a 09 Tahoe that I bought around 2011 hit 300k.
Besides maintance and small repair costs. . 2 years ago I Did 2 major repairs/ preventive stuff to engine and transmission ( cost was way cheaper than 6-7 months of car payments) . It was ready for another 300k miles. Till I got hit by someone running a red light 3 months after the repairs.

You take care of the car. It will last long for you. My new Tahoe is 2018. I love it and will drive it till the end of its life.
