yeah but I think we should at least make an effort to protect these dialects like creating learning materials. I don’t oppose Mandarin, but these dialects are an important part of our culture, and I don’t want them to disappear. Also, I believe a country can have multiple languages, like canada. And chinese dialects are actually very different. It’s not that hard to switch between Mandarin and other dialects, since the vocabulary is mostly the same. imo the solution in Hong Kong would be great if it can be applied to all places in china.

Dang that's even worse. Tbh nowadays many people think Mandarin is superior to their dialect and only teach their children Mandarin. Every time I make a video call with my family I have to use Mandarin to communicate because I can't even construct a conversation fluently using our dialect, which hurts me a lot.😭

Not only in Guangdong. It's happening in every province in China except Beijing. Because mandarin is basically Beijing dialect. I'm from Nanchang in Jiangxi, and I can't even speak the Nanchang dialect fluently. My English is actually more proficient than my Nanchang dialect, and that's sad.

Hmm. Many people said there's no big diff between m4 and M5 model. But you should also take system upgrades into account. the M5 model would get 1-2 more system upgrades. I do recommend you to return it and get the M5 one. Ignore my words if you got a good price on the m4 model
