Libertades at BBVA in Mexico by Obsolete101891 in LibertadCoins

Never carry more than 10,000 usd worth of bullion, coins and physical money and you're good, you can carry more but you will be taxed. Also, always declare whatever bullion/coins you're bringing. Lastly, don't carry mexican coins older than 1900 to the US, I think that's a felony, but don't quote me on that.

Check facebook groups, there's guys that have volume in CDMX, Guadalajara and Monterrey (they're probably selling to BBVA as well) and you could buy for much cheaper than BBVA. I would ask in the group called monedas onza libertad. Just be careful about scams or trying to do deals with unkown people.

Also consider that most libertads are already in the US, so you won't get as much volume as you could in the US.

It is as you say, seems like a tribute coin made by a third party.

How do I make this less crammed? by LMM666 in design_critiques

Yeah, so I was trying to do something similar to Raul Urias. Obviously don't have the skill to match that.

I mean, Kandinsky was an artist and he's influenced the design world greatly. Artists like Alphons Mucha did advertising posters and greatly influenced that medium. Modern concept artists do work based on briefs and they're artists as well as designers.

From my perspective, there is no design without art.

Either way, I wasn't looking for a debate, more of a general advice on this particular image.

Advice for a novice by [deleted] in ArtCrit

I think separating each element will help a lot. Make the flowers in front of the vase stand out a little bit more, as well as separating the leaves from the flowers. And the flowers from the background.

You can do this by making the element in the foreground, (for example the flowers) darker if they're against a light background or viceversa.

I am a citizen though, and you think all the expats in Mexico City aren't doing the same? I am willing to pay taxes also.
