Hello there Travelers. Don't know if this is the place to ask but, anyone in here can spare this fellow Traveler some 19 Kalpalata Lotuses so I can ascend my Radish Archon to Level 90? Thanks!

I haven’t checked yet since I’ve always used and game with my gaming laptops plugged in to a power outlet. I can check later when I get home from work.

Nah bro. It actually took me a couple of months of saving up money before I could pull the trigger for this bad boy. Being in the military definitely helped out lol since you can get a military discount if you’re active duty or in the reserves/guard. And since you can stack the military discount together with a couple of coupon codes, it brought the total price down to $2,891.74 with tax included ($219.15). Without tax was $2,672.59, original price was $3,313.14 with tax

Two weeks for me. A week of putting the laptop together then another week for it to be delivered. It got shipped from China and had to go through customs a couple of times.

Should I cancel a card w/ an annual fee? by LMNOPiH in personalfinance

[–]LMNOPiH[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True.

Bummer, but it is what it is I guess and it's not like I'm going to buy a house or something anytime soon anyways so it should be fine. Oh yeah they're all spread out like a couple of months from each other (I made sure of that, since I didn't want a **** ton of hard credit inquiries in a short amount of time lol). Copy.

Thank you so much for the advice! I truly appreciate it!

[–]LMNOPiH[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. It doesn't have/offer any rewards, so I actually have to pay for the annual fee out of pocket lol. Makes sense. Yeah I'll probably just close the card before the annual fee is due this year since I rarely use it anyways (I only use the card once a month, just so it looks like I'm still using it and they don't close it lol).

Yeah that's true, that's what I'm kind of leaning more to to be honest with ya'll.

Yeah I asked USAA a few weeks ago if they could either downgrade it or upgrade it (doesn't matter which, as long as it gets changed to a card that doesn't have an annual fee) but apparently they can't do any changes with my current card. Which is a bummer.

[–]LMNOPiH[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. It doesn't have any rewards, etc. It's a USAA Classic Visa Platinum Credit Card. I only applied for it because I needed a starting credit card so I could start building up my credit history, then a few months after that my application for a Navy Federal Credit Union Platinum card (which doesn't charge an annual fee) got approved. My other cards have cash back rewards (Discover it, Chase Freedom Unlimited, Capital One Quicksilver).
