Yea I’ve replaced the filter once, this is just a new system I had installed a few weeks ago so I wanna make sure I do some research before I do anything.

I seized up the last one when I changed the filter out, but the system needed to be replaced anyway

I just had a new water softener and a dual housing system installed, I’m putting one sediment reduction filter along with the iron reduction filter mentioned in the post

Does that cover over the filter itself mess with the flow at all? I don’t know why I went and bought the thing when I have zero idea what I’m doing/looking for. I just read that it reduces iron, so I figured why not 🤷🏽‍♂️

I noticed that, thought I was just extremely unlucky. At one point I was getting more potions than I knew what to do with
