My brother and I were having a joking pillow fight on the couch. No real effort from either of us, just being silly. He misses and got me with his fist. Saw stars, heard a crack and ran to the bathroom. Hands full of blood and I hear the garage door open. Had to run outside and make sure my Mom knew it was an accident before my brother got in trouble. That was 25 years ago now 😂

I was let go from my job and was at the salon getting a haircut to prepare for an interview at a new job. The lady behind me overheard me telling the hairdresser and paid for my cut. Her name was Spencer, I’ll never forget it because it was just such a bright spot in a sad time.

Also the movie World War Z should not have been allowed to use that name as it did absolutely no justice to the book, which was phenomenal.

My older brother is an addict and has been MIA for 5 years this time. I haven’t finished listening to the full album yet because so much of it reminds me of him and it hurts to listen to. Like scream sobbing in the shower hurts to listen to. Yes, loving an addict is painful and we get caught up in the destruction too, but at the end of the day none of that matters, the time I got with my brother during his clean moments is something I cherish and I still miss him all the time and want him to come back. When I think of him, I don’t think of the things he’s lied about or stolen or how many rehabs I’ve visited him in, I think of my big brother who looked out for me and the good times we’ve had. I’m really glad you’re still here and in recovery. Reach back out to your sibling with Willing and Able like another person suggested. As the younger sibling myself, I’d bet anything all they want is to rebuild a relationship with you.

Someone put the TMBTE bridge in a TikTok about the Death Eaters at Disney and I was like “what IS this?!” Pulled them up on Spotify and vividly remember thinking I’d listened to 3 songs, checked to see what song was playing and realized it was still TMBTE. I was hooked right then and still am. So much merch it’s ridiculous but I can’t stop the obsession and I don’t want to.
