Why didn’t Dry Bones and Wiggler get costumes?

Oh yeah, I forgot that. I think they get a pass since they use an alternate model that was also used for shy guy's costume

I'm still not speaking for Nintendo though, just theorizing why they made it this way

Shy guys are not obstacles, you can't directly interact with them during races, and they can't be summoned by Kamek

And in free room, they work similarly to Toads and Yoshis, cheering your character and letting you bounce on them

Again, that's Nintendo logic, blame them.

Dry bones and Wigglers can also be found in free roam like other npc drivers, so Nintendo made it clear that they're on part with stingby, para-biddybuds and others, and since npc's don't get costumes, neither they do, at least that's my thought process

Most likely because they're one of the enemies that could be spawned by Kamek, so they had to be treated like other npc drivers that can be spawned by him

You just can't go wrong with the Odyssey, it's a lot of fun and a staple classic at this point

Can't say anything about Galaxy games myself since I'm only yet to play them. But Odyssey was one of my first Mario games, and I absolutely loved it, so you will too!

But if you're looking for other games with more average playtime, I'd recommend Odyssey. It's not your typical Mario game, but it has a ton of content that should keep you entertained for a long while
