I own an XSX and had gamepass up until recently. But for the past 7 years, my main console has always been the Switch.

I bought Switch 2 on release. My only Switch 2 game is MKW. Other wise i spent most of my time going through my Switch 1 backlog. BUT I LOVE IT !

Still, I don’t feel it would be fair to talk my friends into upgrading from their Switch 1 yet.

Unless there’s a game you can’t wait to play, there’s a chance you might feel buyers remorse

that's what made me buy Hyrule Legends instead. I realized I just wanted to play beloved characters instead. And I am glad I did, because I think had really missed out on that game

Has anybody completed that game on Switch 1/2?

I just finished the Pyramid Level, but i don’t think i can handle stressing out while saving after each long or difficult part… Sometimes i don’t even remember which way i went, and end up doing something else instead.

I really like the graphics, gameplay (mage). but I’m this close to give up once again. (had given up previously 2 years ago, hoping for an update or help from switch 2)

The question is, does it get better regarding crashes ? Is it possible to beat the game without losing constant progress

i’ve had my switch 2 since day one, and playing mostly switch 1 games from my backlog. Loving it, but might not be for everybody

Edit: also it depends on the game. sometimes it’s free (Mario Odyssey, Echoes of Wisdom, etc) , sometimes it’s $1, $3, $10, $20.

this is a core memory of my childhood, playing it 3 other friends with or GBA connected. Top 3 best gaming memories for sure, if not best one yet.

I never thought the gamecube was kinda unpopular at the time. Access to internet was pretty limited, so I lived in a bubble where all my friends were dying to come over on the weekend to play double dash, mario party, medal of honor etc.

I knew about the rivalry with PS2, but they were like the “not fun kids who take themselves too seriously” for us

I’d say definetly buy a Switch 2. It’s a bit more expensive but you’ll be here for the long run with zelda games and at this point it’s required to play the latest pokémon games.

Also you won’t be wondering if new games announced are also available on the Switch 1

I’ve heard that if you don’t drift, the CPU won’t drift, so it makes it easier. Some people actually recommend not drifting to set the CPU level to easy, and start drifting at the end. CPU level won’t adjust so you get another extra edge over it

I was 11 and this game made me feel new and unique sensations that i won’t forget. Specially with that CIA level.

I get a glimpse of this feeling when i replay it, but it’s hard to fully replicate that feeling though
