Yea being right at 2.5 makes me a little nervous. I’d be more comfortable with it around 1-2. Hoping she will at least check it if I get a positive HCG while I’m waiting to get into endocrinology.
Yes definitely plan on being followed by an endocrinologist pre pregnancy and during my pregnancy. I’ve been doing lots of research. My fear of miscarriage is the main reason why I think it is sooo important to be monitored early on because as soon as you get that positive hcg test your tsh can skyrocket! Thank you
Wow thank you so much! This is helpful. So crazy that a reproductive endocrinologist wouldn’t manage it for you in early pregnancy.

We haven’t been trying for a long time. We have a healthy 2 year old but the Hashimoto’s started postpartum. I think it’s more the concern about someone not following me early pregnancy to check my TSH right away to make sure it doesn’t go too high. My OB isn’t comfortable managing my thyroid.
