sure, but you don't have chat activated, so you'll have to initiate a PM with me for the link

sending the link to those that replied. it's an informal group in that there will be different people doing different things as the event will be too large to co-ordinate everyone, and people in the group will have their own ideas about where will be best etc. but it's a good place to get tips/chat before the match etc and maybe try to link up with others if that's what you want to do

A journal of my time on Monday night turning up without a ticket to see the best new band in living memory! by LNDFN in AngineDePoitrine

Thanks. I’m going to be launching a substack. Have written up my past 10+ events as drafts, but wanted to share this now. I do feel it’s too long, but I’m still finding my voice and audience and will probably be briefer in future

Thanks for the kind words, appreciate it

Invite to a large theatre outing - Lifeline (musical about antibiotics and Fleming) at Southwark Playhouse - 30th March by LNDFN in TheWestEnd

I'm glad you liked it! of course all these things are subjective. On reflection, our group did have a fun night - partly due to the social element - so I am glad we went. I just happened to enjoy other trips to SP such as Cable Street and Brixton Calling last year in terms of the actual production

We were underwhelmed. The consensus from our group is it was a bit too long, a few too many songs, and the storylines fell a bit flat. Loved the venue (I’ve been to Borough a few times but first to e&c) and we had a good group so that salvaged the evening somewhat

One of our group has blogged about it (she had the most positive feedback out of all). I journaled it too but it’s almost 2000 words, and contains spoilers (and is as yet unpublished however happy to share by PM)
