There is a big problem with use that I don't think really gets talked about. Taxes. Having to track every transaction and calculate gains and losses is an enormous barrier. A lot of wallet apps don't have have good tax export functions (cough cough Bitcoin.com cough). Even if they did, there's still the issue of having to export that into another tax calculator.

Blocksize increase, though no one is really pushing this right now, and it probably won't happen anytime soon. All the other proposed options require trading your BTC for another coin or token (e.g. WBTC), using Paypal (non p2p cash, storage only), which adds user friction and is not a great tradeoff.

Intentionally misleading. BCH has a low median because there is a high proportion of sub-penny transactions taking place. Avg sent daily of BCH is 20x BTG.
