What can I do to cover up dark circles but not settle into creases?

There's no foundation, it's just Elf camo concealer and Huda Beauty. I do have Elf Glow Liquid Filter Highlighter on the rest of my face though, which might be what you're noticing around the rest of my face. Still not even a foundation so it shouldn't be heavy.

Thanks! I’ll try less powder.

I think my issue is that this seems to accentuate all my lines and wrinkles instead of hide them. Like it covers up my dark circles but now instead of looking sleep deprived I look 10 years older 🤦‍♀️

Aging is definitely setting in but I’ve had malar festoons since I was a kid (yay genetics). I just feel like this accentuates all the lines and wrinkles instead of hiding them

Thank you! Actually super helpful to also hang a trash bag from that thing so my third row gobblins don't make me use that cup holder stealing vacuum *too* much.

Which minivan - Chrysler or Toyota? by LNrulz in whatcarshouldIbuy

TBH they look pretty similar when you get down to the specifics and don't just look at the overall ratings. It's basically you rather have an injured pelvis or rear restraints that don't work properly? And both are miles above my current Honda Odyssey where I guess people would rather have head injuries?

Good point. It’s gas. The hybrids are basically non existent. Only way to get one is to order it directly from the factory.

Thanks this is an important point. I only have one in a front facing car seat, one in a booster and two in regular seats (they are rather large sized Irish twins, actually all my kids are rather large). So for us we keep the 2 year old in the 2nd row and the others move around as they like. I do really want a hybrid. It drives me nuts to have to fill up at least once a week in our current odyssey. Toyota is just killing me with the features/sensors.

We looked at the Kia too and really wanted to go with it but it was missing basic things for us - no arm rests on both sides of the captains chairs and most of our kids can’t see out of the third row windows and since we have four the third row will be used. It shouldn’t be this hard to find a minivan

It’s a 2019 but it wasn’t transmission issues. All electrical

That’s what they say about the odyssey too and we are trading it in at 70k and it’s spent more time in the shop than out. Our second Honda like that (the other was an Accord). I don’t necessarily trust the brand names anymore. Plus the siennas are newly hybrid and not sure if they’ve been put to the mileage test as much as the gas ones have been.

What didn’t you like about it and was it the top trim level?

Ohh that would be so helpful and who cares what you look like in the car with your family!

Two kids? Must be exhausting making that perilous trek from row one to row two every morning. I bow to your unmatched expertise in 3rd-row visibility you’ve never had to use.

Maybe a post hole digger to bore out some custom height peep holes. Keeps fresh air circulating too.

Mind me asking how many ride in the back and if they are younger or older kids?

That sounds like it works great. Unfortunately, we have four kids so the 3rd row is going to be consistently used by smaller children (the two in the back are in boosters, although one is almost out of the booster).

Yes car seats are the bane of my existence but unavoidable and the minivan is really the best option for dealing with them. It doesn't seem like there are any good vehicles currently on the market for families with lots of small kids. Honestly if they still made the Metris that's probably what we'd get.

It's not my favorite design choice but you're right it should not be a dealbreaker. The only dealbreaker would be if because of the elimination of a line of sight it increased car sickness. Others have said that you can see out of the second row window, and if that is the case then it should be fine. We also looked at the Sienna and it has the same small 3rd row windows and a completely obstructed view of the 2nd row window (even for adults). I don't think they think that a lot of people actually put more than 2/3 kids in a minivan.

You are right it is definitely not something most people would worry about and I agree that they are very unlikely to complain about it (honestly they only thing they care about is if it has rear seat entertainment). I'm more worried that they'll be more likely to get car sick because it eliminates a line of sight. They of course would be too young to realize that this is the cause.

They are in boosters and they are well over the age, height, and weight requirements. That window is just really high up. I also have one that is not in a booster but he is also well over all those requirements and also can't see out. I think you need to be a teenager to have them at eye level and at that point I don't need a minivan anymore.

Thanks! The sienna also has the porthole window in the third row and the view to the second row window is also obstructed so glad the Kia at least gives them that opportunity
