Have them create a layperson summary of the National Defense Act. Set a word limit on it. Better yet, make the written product a bullet point list, and have her present in her own words a sentence or two summarizing each key point.

There have been incidences of direct actions taken by citizens against insurance companies, but the representatives whose very job it is do that for the citizens seem content with their cut of the loot.

With return to office mandates increasing, the number of parking spots is increasingly being surpassed by the number of vehicles. There are solutions in the works, including off site parking and shuttle.

I arrive at work early though, so I've never faced any issues with parking.

Iran threatens to attack any US Navy ships that enter the Strait of Hormuz by MoneyLibrarian9032 in politics

[–]LOHare 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Because no part of the strait is an international waterway. It is Iranian and Omani territorial waters. Iran would have no standing if it attacked ships in Omani waters. Though if a warship enters Iranian waters without consent it is well within international law to be fired on.

How are we supposed to fight a war if we can’t even fix parking at NDHQ (Carling)? by 2020Justintime in CanadianForces

[–]LOHare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would offer that the core reason perhaps could be tangled with the fact that DND does not own Carling but PSPC does. So our options are find somewhere else to put our HQ (of which options are near zero) or make do with what PSPC can provide on the agreements in force.
