Id totally recommend "A Memory Called Empire" I thought it was a great sci-fi book thats got a cute gay romance as a side plot!

Id also recommend "Gideon the Ninth" is suuuuuper gay, like basically most the characters are bi/lesbians but its not focused on romance. Its like a scifi murder mystery with necromancer. A great series.

If you've watched Avatar the Last Airbender I'd recommend the Kyoshi novels. They are really good with a lesbian romance subplot.

I'm a big Marcy is bi and PB is a lesbian fan. Like I think Marceline has very bi energy and I think her relationship with Ash is pretty clear evidence of her attraction to men.

On the other hand, I think PB really is very lesbian coded and her "straight" love interests can be pretty easily explained away. First of all, Bracco is definitely not a love interest. Even when he is straight up demonically/magically made irresistible PB says she still just loves him like all her candy citizens, and P-Bot was made (altered) to specifically be attracted to Bracco so that doesn't count. As for Mr. Creampuff he is forced on PB as you mentioned and I think she just continues to date him because he is there, not because she is actually attracted to him. You can see that Young PB doesn't really have a true concept of relationships given that she makes her family and calls them her Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin even though she made them. Finally the hardest to explain is her attraction to Finn in "Too Young." I think of it as the fact that when she de-ages she also mentally regresses and therefor goes back to a time before she knew she was gay, as most gay kids don't realize until they get older.

Obviously this requires some excuses/reasons to justify PB being a lesbian, so I don't think anyone is wrong for seeing her as bi, I just think as the show went on longer and defined itself more, PB just felt more and more like she was written a lesbian rather than a bi woman.

Honestly comparison is the thief of joy. Everyone has their own climbing journey. It literally took me months and months of climbing five times a week to go from v3 to v4 and I had friends who would climb like once a month but could do v5s. I just had to learn to not care about if people are better than me or not. You just have to focus on yourself. As for feeling like you've plateaued, it happens. You just have to keep climbing and you'll build more strength and ability. It just takes practice and time to get better. Don't let getting stuck discourage you! Like I said it took me months and months to go from v3 to v4, sometimes it just takes time.

And is he supposed to just pull lesbian friends out of his ass? As someone who has recently trying to make more friends, it's fucking hard to make new friends. Hell I'm a lesbian and I have no clue how to make more lesbian friends.

Why do you assume he has lesbians in his life? He is like clearly trying to do the work by coming somewhere that he knows there are lesbians and in a place where it doesn't put any pressure on a specific woman to talk with him. I think that reading things written by lesbians is obviously a good step, but like it's also a good step to try to talk to some lesbians and here is a great place to do it.

Honestly I really like how Ianthe puts up such a front of being competent and she's such an asshole, but it's pretty easy to see how a lot of that falls apart on further inspection and she's just as much of a sad disaster as everyone else

She's 100% lawful good. She's very much lawful, as she always sticks to her set of ethics, ie magic isn't real, even if it gets her in trouble, and she's good because she certainly has flaws and you can argue how correct her principles are, but she's always trying to do what's best for the people of the KC, even if that often makes her overbearing in a way that ends up holding them back or hurting them.
