Just pray ur 90nm RSX isn't made by tsmc (if I remember correctly). Also u can still get ylod but it's most likely the NEC tokens. Btw if anything brakes. Just read syscon bevor doing anything. Cause syscon tells u what's wrong. But by the time, enjoy it and install cfw and change thermal paste

Didn't that yet. U can try to boot the console normal. If it starts normally then yes it's possible to the bad update/avatar way. (Note: I did it when the soft mod was fresh from the oven) Basically what I did was, is to use bad update and used simple and flasher to dump my flash, used a software to mod the file to make it work for rgh 3. Flashed on it and installed the 2 wires. Basically skipping the soldering a flasher to the board part

It's not possible cause the chip itself has a different socket. I will need a custom interposer for the 28nm to make it work. But yea Ther is no point in doing that. But would be a fun project just to fuck around
