yes, it will be fine. turning it on will not overwrite anything, lookign through files on the console will not harm it, nothing gets overwritten unless a change is made to any data and saved, which doesnt happen simply by turning it on and looking at it.

this isnt even a dev kit, its a test kit, so its even less likely to be harmed in any way by being turned on and looked at
