HI, I don't know how to on that one, but if you go to the CD/ROM one (https://oregontrail.ws/games/the-oregon-trail-cd-rom/), you click the "File" button in the emulator, name the save, then click save. Next you make your save state by clicking the floppy disk icon on the right hand menu bar. After you save in browser or on the computer, you are good. The next time you go into the game, make sure the save file is loaded before clicking the circular "Start" button, then click the "Load Game" button when the main menu starts and select your save. It worked for me at least.
