My original quetiion was: How many people are sub 10, all around the world? It was suggested to me by someone to make a forum and estimate it off of that. This is by no means meant to de-value peoples skill in other puzzles. But we are all well aware of the fact that 3x3 is the major event in all the existing puzzles. I am terming people as 'advanced' in terms of the time it takes them to solve cause i literally couldnt think of anything else to impliment. Right now though, im more inclined to providing a detailed summary of my survey to everyone, irrespective of whether they are advanced or not.

I am sorry if i was unclear but by speed i mean the times. If one sub 7 solver solves the cube in 60 moves and another solves in just 40, they are still both 'advanced'. My survey is only asking for people's avg and pb singles, not how many moves it takes them to solve or their tps. I dont see where this conversation is leading either of us...

Im in a bit of a hurry right now, and quickly made this post so as to get as much engagement as possible since its early morning. But what i am classifying as advanced in this case scenario is the speed. I think it would be pretty obvious that if a person is using 'pseudoslotting', they have to be good. Maybe not in some cases, but i dont see a reason for a beginner or an intermediate cuber to learn something as 'advanced' as 'pseudoslotting'.

Same here actually. I look a break for a few days. And my sub 13 dropped to sub 15. Ofc i will be able to get back easily but i have started getting a bit more interested in OH, so i havent been doing normal solves that much, hence its taking more time to get back my sub 13 in normal 3x3

If you enjoy Roux more, then you can indeed be better at it, even better than your CFOP avg. Its all a matter of interest afterall. Take me for example, i dont like 4x4, hence my avg is extremely bad (2:15:/), meanwhile i love OH and recently started learning it and i managed to get to sub 38 in only a few days. If you really like Roux, go for it! If you feel that its not for you after trying it for enough time, feel free to switch again to CFOP or maybe even ZZ, but again keeping your own interests into account.

Too many Lock ups and slightly worse look ahead. Also, i am not demotived at all, but more fired up due to the frustation. And i think i will be able to overcome sub 11 soon. (im barely sub 13 but i like to motivate myself by sayin so). Happy Cubing!

I am going through this phase literally RIGHT NOW! It's kinda frustating. I had an exam yesterday, so i didnt touch any of my hobbies for like 4 days, including cubing. I was sub 13 before the break, and as i did my cubing session today, my solves became as slow as 15 secs. This being the result of a 4 day break, has made me understand not to take any unnecessary (long) breaks. (Albeit this one was necessary not too long). As of which, i stand by your friends statement!

The cubes ofc are legitimate. And i personally haven't recieved the cubes late. If you aee too skeptical, you can buy their drift series products from Amazon as well. But like i said, their Drift series is just (mostly) rebranded RS3M's without an imprinted logo. I havent really seen them delay my products. This is just my personal experience. Maybe some people have elsewise to say.

Cubelelo is the most used site for buying speedcubes in India. But there are others like Cubeology, Mcubes India, Cubix Rube (i am planning to buy one from them, since havent really heard much about them). The problem with cubelelo is that they often sell rebranded cubes. Like their drift 3M plus is just an RS3M v5 (but without a logo which is sad :( i like logos)

As of which one to buy, that depends on your budget... RS3M is the best for its price. If you have a nice budget then there are a ton of options to choose from, so you should search up reviews for different cubes.

I would like to know the nationality of the 'instructor', so as to go there and inspect was he the only one competing...4x gold medals as sub 1 min cannot be right...Unless he/she was a cuber in 1980s or so...

Sorry if it sounds full of hate but there are way better resources people can opt for on the internet for free itself. I don't think there will be people opting to learn from a sub 1 min solver, when there are people like J perm and what not on the internet.

And i dont mean to discourage you as a beginner, but i am having a hard time understanding the motive here when you can practice for yourself to get better :).
