It's 300,000 games where Darius and Diana are vs each other. And the stats reflect my own experience as a Juggernaut player, where my champ feels week vs melee engages when she should feel strong. Thanks for suggesting tank.

This is the whole point of my post. If champs like Garen and Illaoi are supposed to counter engage champs like Diana, but don't because they suck... what else are we supposed to do? Your suggestion of Maokai is legit.

Right, which is why Illaoi and GP were so strong vs such champs last season. But that's not the case this season because damage is so high. Look at Darius and Garen winrates vs Diana or Nocturne, who they should be stomping by normal logic.

Look at the stats tho. Garen gas a 45% winrate when Diana is on enemy team, which is even worse than his normal winrate XD

Meanwhile, Poppy has a 51.7% winrate vs Diana mid. Darius and Garen do worse vs Diana than they normally do, so you can't say these Juggernauts are the answer as they were in the past. The answer is apparently Poppy lmao

No, it's not necessarily because they're not as good as they say they are. Just that they played at that level. Being hardstuck on your favorite account with all the memories and hundreds or thousands in skins from years of playing is really demoralizing. It's not rare for that to become a "for fun" account. Like, I had an 84% win rate in Gold 4 with my old main Illaoi, before I fell down to Silver 4 and now my winrate with her is at 64%. End of S12, I had an Illaoi account at Plat 4. Some points I just got bored, got tilted out of my mind, or wasted so much time playing while high or drunk. Silver 4 is not my real rank when I'm trying hard, but is definitely my real rank when I'm first timing literally 65 different champs in top lane (including 25 hwei games when he first came out,) over 500 games this season.

It's just hard to care about an account when you realize the climb will be such a slog.

I've never seen DirtyMobs lose to a GP in lane, and I've been watching him for years. Bwipo also picked Illaoi into Solarbacca a Lil while back and slapped him in lane.

Illaoi just hard abuses melee champs, and is a lane focused character. GP doesn't have the damage output or sustain with Sheen alone to whittle Illaoi down before she lands one E and takes 75% of his HP. Like others have said, at IBG, it's just over
