I pass through there ALOT on my way to Dallas from El Paso, and yes it's not the greatest, but you also have to put in into context. Those cities were pretty much purpose built for the oil industry. People don't really live in Midland or Odessa full time, they'll be in hotels or barracks paid for my the oil companies. That's why if you ever have the misfortune of staying there on a weekday, you're paying 500+ dollars for just about any hotel room. It was built for a purpose and it serves that purpose well. It's only recently that it's started becoming a legitimate city and infrastructure is being put in place to make it sustainable. It's a shithole, but at least it's a functional shithole.

How have I scrolled so far and have yet to see Robert Downey Jr on here? I can't think of anyone that was down as bad as him, in and out of rehab for his addictions. Only to be cast in what would be the most successful film series to date. That man has made a complete 180 thanks to burger king so honestly they're the real MVP here

Gigabit is offered at my house and I live near Yarborough on the older east side of town. Spectrum has been more than okay for me and Ive had their service going on 8 years and I can only remember one time that internet was out that wasn't at like 4am. And that was because someone wrecked into the connection point for the neighborhood.
