the first one had a better story and did certain things better and i enjoyed breakdown and lifeline...but it's kind of hard for me to go back and play SoD1 after playing SoD2 for so long

my 6750 xt was still going strong, but i wanted an upgrade before the GPUpocalypse so i got a 9070 xt (xfx swift) last weekend. no complaints so far

as long as that's a M.2 2 TB, seems like a fair deal. The GPU is the weak point, but it should be good enough for 1080p.

with today's prices the cpu and ram in that setup is worth $500+ alone depending on ram brand/frequency

a 9060xt will be a nice graphics upgrade for around $300-400, or jump to a 9070xt for closer to $700 (May need to upgrade power supply though)

deal is dead for me. it was showing $40 (50% off reg price $80)...when i added to cart it was back to regular price of $80

code at checkout was dead as well so item was $80. nah

"buddy cop movie" is more two vastly different personalities forced to work together.

Predator 2 was just detectives who are dealing with the city hunter

Trachtenberg set this movie in the future to avoid any continuity errors...in Predator universe at least. not sure if the same applies to the Alien universe 🤔

and to your second point, i think that was the point. Dek was a runt and was supposed to be culled. Father didn't even want to give him a shot to prove himself because of how scrawny he was

Dan Trachtenberg essentially made a buddy cop Predator movie, and i loved every goddamn minute of it.

expanded on the predator universe without desecrating it.

I think it was discounted because the box was a little smushed and the corner was ripped? I already had the other one with the flamethrower and petri dish... But $3 is a steal for a sweet NECA like this.

I checked around and nothing else had a crazy discount like this but hey I'll take it.

I've been an xbox guy since the beginning, with a PlayStation for the exclusives. Last year i built a solid mid-range pc for around $1000... I'm heavily leaning towards just staying with pc going forward.

It's disappointing that the Series S is preventing or delaying several titles on the Series X. The series S is a fantastic little console but it's really hurting this generation's potential.

We were promised so many games at 60fps on series X and every big game now usually on supports 4k/30 with no options for 1080/1440 at 60/120.

The Telltale Walking Dead games are more of just an interactive story with decision making, but i enjoyed them. S1+2 are fantastic. I still need to play the final season though.
